Inter­cul­tur­al under­stand­ing among young peo­ple through the fun of soccer

The “Foot­ball League Karl­sruhe” is a project for inter­cul­tur­al under­stand­ing between chil­dren and young peo­ple of dif­fer­ent cul­tures and nation­al ori­gins.
It is about soc­cer, fair­ness, tol­er­ance, respect and, above all, fun.

Since sum­mer 2019, the City Youth Com­mit­tee has been run­ning the “Karl­sruhe Foot­ball League” togeth­er with the Edu­ca­tion and Sports Department.

On sev­en match days in 3 age groups for the first time.

Age Group

• U11 (born in 2015 or later)
• U14 (born in 2012 or later)
• U17 (born in 2009 or later)

The match­es will be played on var­i­ous soc­cer felds in Karlsruhe:

• Gerold­säck­er Soc­cer Field 
• Otto-Dul­lenkopf-Park Soc­cer Field 
• Ostring/Rintheim Soc­cer Field
