Artificial intelligence — what is it?

In the lecture, we will first go on a short journey through the history of AI — from its beginnings to the advances of the present and we will ask the question of what “artificial intelligence” actually means or should mean for us.

We will also discuss the exciting opportunities that are opening up through the use of AI. The lecture will be enriched by illustrative examples from practice that show how AI is already shaping our everyday lives and how we can use “artificial intelligence” ourselves in our everyday lives.

Speaker: Peter Bolch is a computer scientist. He has extensive expertise spanning more than 15 years in IT.
