Food for needy people 

Food, where it belongs

We make sure that food gets to where it is most need­ed: to the people!!!

We sup­port:

Peo­ple in our city who live on the edge of the sub­sis­tence lev­el and there­fore can­not feed them­selves suf­fi­cient­ly. Cur­rent­ly, there are about 1,000 peo­ple per week.
After ver­i­fi­ca­tion of need, the cus­tomers receive an ID card that enti­tles them to pick up food from the Tafel on one of the two dis­tri­b­u­tion days. This need is checked again every year.
We fur­ther sup­port sev­er­al insti­tu­tions with the donat­ed food, which also take care of needy people.

We are sup­port­ed by:

Food dis­coun­ters, com­pa­nies of the whole­sale mar­ket, bak­eries, drug­stores, etc.
Com­pa­nies, banks as well as pri­vate per­sons sup­port us with mon­e­tary donations.
As a non-prof­it orga­ni­za­tion, we are financed exclu­sive­ly by donations.
We would like to thank all donors for their support.

Food safe­ty for all our cus­tomers is very impor­tant to us!

All Tafeln adhere to the legal reg­u­la­tions on food hygiene and check the donat­ed goods before hand­ing them out. Strict reg­u­la­tions gov­ern the stor­age, pro­cess­ing and dis­tri­b­u­tion of food. Tafeln adhere to the food hygiene reg­u­la­tions and thus ensure that the goods dis­trib­uted are of impec­ca­ble quality.

Unfor­tu­nate­ly, we can­not accept any new cus­tomers at the moment!!!
