MONDO means “world”. The fes­ti­val show­cas­es the cul­tur­al diver­si­ty of Karl­sruhe res­i­dents from all over the world.

MONDO 2026 a fes­ti­val for everyone

On Sat­ur­day, July 11, 2026, we will cel­e­brate MONDO — a fes­ti­val for every­one, the inter­cul­tur­al fes­ti­val in Karl­sruhe — on the Bildungscampus

For­eign-Ger­man asso­ci­a­tions and insti­tu­tions present them­selves with stands and a diverse cul­tur­al pro­gram. They pro­vide infor­ma­tion about cur­rent projects, activ­i­ties and events relat­ing to inter­cul­tur­al and inter­na­tion­al work in Karl­sruhe. Spe­cial­ties from all over the world are offered every­where. Vol­un­teers from the asso­ci­a­tions are respon­si­ble for the dish­es and thus guar­an­tee an authen­tic­i­ty that is hard to find at oth­er festivals.

The diver­si­ty and col­or­ful­ness of Karl­sruhe can be expe­ri­enced with all sens­es at MONDO 2026.

In the face of con­flicts and wars world­wide, but also in the heart of Europe, peace­ful coex­is­tence and the joint cel­e­bra­tion of dif­fer­ent cul­tures in Karl­sruhe is a hope­ful signal.
