MONDO — a cel­e­bra­tion for all

MONDO means “world”. The name says it all: The fes­ti­val shows the cul­tur­al diver­si­ty of Karl­sruhe’s cit­i­zens from all over the world. For­eign-Ger­man asso­ci­a­tions and insti­tu­tions present them­selves with booths and a diverse cul­tur­al pro­gram. They inform about cur­rent projects, activ­i­ties and events con­cern­ing inter­cul­tur­al and inter­na­tion­al work in Karl­sruhe. Spe­cial­ties from all over the world will be offered every­where. Vol­un­teers from the asso­ci­a­tions are respon­si­ble for the dish­es and thus guar­an­tee an authen­tic­i­ty that is hard­ly ever found at oth­er festivals.
