Tar­get lan­guage lev­el B2 – tar­get­ed exam preparation

Voca­tion­al Lan­guage Course at USS

The B2 course for tar­get­ed exam prepa­ra­tion con­sists of 200 teach­ing units and is designed for par­tic­i­pants who have failed the exam and wish to pre­pare thor­ough­ly for the repeat exam.

The course con­cludes with a cer­ti­fi­ca­tion exam.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Par­tic­i­pants have already tak­en the B2 voca­tion­al lan­guage course and did not pass the cer­tifi­cate exam.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS (§ 45A AufenthG)

• Immi­grants from third coun­tries
• EU cit­i­zens and Ger­mans with a migra­tion back­ground
• Tem­porar­i­ly admit­ted per­sons who are close to the labor mar­ket after a six-month pre­lim­i­nary admis­sion peri­od
• Indi­vid­u­als with tem­po­rary res­i­dence per­mits under § 60a(2), sen­tence 3 of the Res­i­dence Act (Aufen­thG), known as the “train­ing-relat­ed tem­po­rary res­i­dence per­mit”
• Indi­vid­u­als who have already signed an appren­tice­ship con­tract for an eli­gi­ble voca­tion­al train­ing pro­gram with­in the mean­ing of § 57(1) of Book III of the Social Code (SGB III) and wish to pre­pare lin­guis­ti­cal­ly for voca­tion­al train­ing before it begins.

COSTS

The cours­es are fund­ed by the fed­er­al bud­get. In prin­ci­ple, par­tic­i­pa­tion in a voca­tion­al lan­guage course is free of charge.
