Com­mit­ted to more sus­tain­abil­i­ty in Karlsruhe

The com­mit­ment to a sus­tain­able and future-ori­ent­ed Karl­sruhe and also to sus­tain­able devel­op­ment world­wide is great in Karl­sruhe — both among the cit­i­zens and on the part of the city admin­is­tra­tion. Under the umbrel­la of Local Agen­da 21, numer­ous work­ing groups, ini­tia­tives, asso­ci­a­tions and pri­vate indi­vid­u­als are com­mit­ted to the 17 goals of the Unit­ed Nations’ Agen­da 2030 and are involved in top­ics such as cli­mate pro­tec­tion, One World, sus­tain­able con­sump­tion and mobil­i­ty. The web app “Agen­da 2030 — Sus­tain­abil­i­ty in Karl­sruhe” (https://geoportal.karlsruhe.de/agenda2030/) pro­vides an ini­tial overview of the diverse land­scape of actors as well as sus­tain­able shop­ping oppor­tu­ni­ties in Karl­sruhe. The Agen­da Office of the City of Karl­sruhe sup­ports cit­i­zens in the imple­men­ta­tion of their projects and in pub­lic rela­tions. It also imple­ments its own projects and is always hap­py to hear from you and to receive new ideas.
