Music as a con­nec­tion to the homeland

The Office for Inte­gra­tion cor­dial­ly invites you to the screen­ing of the award-win­ning doc­u­men­tary film “Aşk, Mark ve Ölüm — Love, D‑Mark and Death” on Sat­ur­day, Octo­ber 1 at 7 p.m. at the Kine­math­ek Karlsruhe.

The film focus­es on the impor­tance of the music cul­ture of Turk­ish immi­grants for Ger­many. Among oth­er things, the film deals with ques­tions of belong­ing, iden­ti­ty and participation.

After the screen­ing, the duo Fun­da Banaz and Murat Yalçın will pro­vide musi­cal accom­pa­ni­ment. All inter­est­ed fel­low cit­i­zens are cor­dial­ly invit­ed to cel­e­brate a fes­ti­val of inter­cul­tur­al encounter and exchange.
