The Office for Inte­gra­tion cor­dial­ly invites you to a screen­ing of the award-win­ning doc­u­men­tary “Aşk, Mark ve Ölüm – Love, the D‑Mark, and Death” on Sat­ur­day, Octo­ber 1, at 7:00 p.m. at the Kine­math­ek Karlsruhe.

The film explores the sig­nif­i­cance of the musi­cal cul­ture of Turk­ish immi­grants for Ger­many. Among oth­er things, the film address­es issues of belong­ing, iden­ti­ty, and participation.

Fol­low­ing the film screen­ing, the duo Fun­da Banaz and Murat Yalçın will pro­vide musi­cal accom­pa­ni­ment. All inter­est­ed res­i­dents are cor­dial­ly invit­ed to cel­e­brate a fes­ti­val of inter­cul­tur­al encounter and exchange.
