Sup­port­ing Young Women in Inde­pen­dent Living
with Socio-Edu­ca­tion­al Support

WisE (liv­ing with inten­sive indi­vid­ual socio-edu­ca­tion­al sup­port) is a youth wel­fare ser­vice for young women aged 16 and over who want to live alone and would like sup­port in doing so.
In indi­vid­ual cas­es, young peo­ple of oth­er gen­ders can also be accept­ed. We pro­vide 1‑room apartments.

A social work­er accom­pa­nies the young peo­ple in all mat­ters accord­ing to the ref­er­ence sup­port system.
There are about 2–3 appoint­ments per week (staff ratio 1:4).
The aim is to help the young peo­ple to build up an inde­pen­dent life as far as possible.

WisE Moth­er-Child

Liv­ing with inten­sive indi­vid­ual socio-edu­ca­tion­al sup­port for moth­ers with child(ren).
WisE Moth­er-Child is a youth wel­fare ser­vice for young moth­ers aged 18 and over who want to live alone with their child/children (aged 0–6) and still need inten­sive sup­port to become inde­pen­dent with their child.

The young moth­ers must be able to take respon­si­bil­i­ty for them­selves and their child to the extent that they are able to get help and keep agree­ments. The young moth­ers must be able to take sole respon­si­bil­i­ty for the chil­dren, par­tic­u­lar­ly in the areas of basic care and supervision.

The scope of care and the top­ics are basi­cal­ly the same as those of WisE. In addi­tion, there are top­ics such as sup­port dur­ing preg­nan­cy, prepa­ra­tion for the birth, strength­en­ing the moth­er’s role, the upbring­ing and health of the chil­dren and fur­ther fam­i­ly planning.
In indi­vid­ual cas­es, young fathers can also be accepted.
