Online Ger­man Lan­guage Course B2 – Job-Relat­ed Ger­man Course

Would you like to improve your Ger­man for work? This Online Ger­man Lan­guage Course B2 lev­el helps you devel­op the lan­guage skills need­ed for every­day pro­fes­sion­al life and improves your career oppor­tu­ni­ties in Germany.

The Online Ger­man Lan­guage Course is part of the Job-Relat­ed Ger­man Lan­guage Sup­port Pro­gramme (DeuFöV) fund­ed by the Fed­er­al Office for Migra­tion and Refugees (BAMF). The course includes 400 teach­ing units and focus­es on pro­fes­sion­al com­mu­ni­ca­tion at B2 lev­el accord­ing to the Com­mon Euro­pean Frame­work of Ref­er­ence for Lan­guages (CEFR).

Who can join at Online Ger­man Lan­guage Course B2 

This Online Ger­man Lan­guage Course is intend­ed for peo­ple who already have B1-lev­el Ger­man and have passed the Ger­man Test for Immi­grants (DTZ).

Costs

Par­tic­i­pa­tion is free in many cas­es.

• Unem­ployed or job seek­ers: free of charge with autho­riza­tion from the Job­cen­ter or the Fed­er­al Employ­ment Agency.
• Employ­ees, appren­tices or peo­ple in the pro­fes­sion­al recog­ni­tion process: apply for autho­riza­tion through BAMF. If you are employed and do not receive addi­tion­al social ben­e­fits, the par­tic­i­pa­tion fee is €2.56 per teach­ing unit.

How to obtain authorization

If you are unem­ployed or look­ing for work:

• Con­tact your Job­cen­ter or the Fed­er­al Employ­ment Agency (Agen­tur für Arbeit) and request a DeuFöV autho­riza­tion cer­tifi­cate.

If you are employed, in voca­tion­al train­ing or in a pro­fes­sion­al recog­ni­tion process:
