For refugees and stu­dents from all uni­ver­si­ties in Karlsruhe

The “Pel­i­can” pro­gram is aimed at refugees who are inter­est­ed in edu­ca­tion and study­ing at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Karl­sruhe and who wish to improve their lan­guage skills. The pro­gram orga­nizes week­ly meet­ings between refugees and stu­dents to freely dis­cuss aca­d­e­m­ic and cul­tur­al topics.

This close-knit social inter­ac­tion gives refugees the oppor­tu­ni­ty to get to know the uni­ver­si­ty from a student’s per­spec­tive and ask ques­tions about study­ing in Germany.
