Exhibition Opening: The Language of African Colors

Exhibition Opening: The Language of African Colors

Saturday, 20 September 2025
until
Friday, 14 November 2025

Three Senegalese artists invite us on a creative journey of discovery through their homeland – from striking landscapes and vibrant portraits to abstract works that reflect the lives of the people and Senegal’s deeply rooted culture. Three individual forms of expression, united by one goal: to showcase the beauty of Senegal in all its facets.

Mbagaan Nduur works with coffee grounds on canvas – an unusual material that gives his abstract works a natural, earthy depth. His art creates a strong connection to the country’s cultural identity.
Betty Schindler paints on glass, bringing landscapes, everyday scenes, and powerful portraits to life in radiant colors.
Louis Gomes captures the visual language of Senegal impressively through detailed landscape paintings and portraits on canvas.

This exhibition is more than just a visual experience – it appeals to all the senses. At the opening, you can look forward to a fashion show by Betty, as well as culinary specialties from Africa. We look forward to sharing this artistic journey with you!
