Men­tor­ing Pro­gram – Meet, Con­nect, Sup­port – HKA

  • Who it’s for: First-semes­ter students
  • What it Offers: In the men­tor­ing pro­gram, you as a first-semes­ter stu­dent will be sup­port­ed through­out your first semes­ter by expe­ri­enced stu­dents from the sec­ond semes­ter onward (men­tors). The men­tors share their knowl­edge and per­son­al expe­ri­ences with you, help­ing you orga­nize your stud­ies and con­nect with oth­er stu­dents. As part of a men­tor­ing group, you’ll also get to know oth­er stu­dents in your pro­gram, as well as the cam­pus and the city.

Men­tors Sup­port New­com­ers and Busi­ness­es – HWK

  • Tar­get Group: New­ly arrived migrants and businesses
  • Offer: The “Inte­gra­tion through Appren­tice­ship” pro­gram sup­ports new­com­ers in explor­ing career options, find­ing intern­ships or appren­tice­ships, and accom­pa­nies them through the first six months. The men­tors (“Küm­mer­er”) also serve as con­tacts for com­pa­nies, for exam­ple in ques­tions about sup­port­ing apprentices.
