Civic engage­ment and par­tic­i­pa­tion are of great impor­tance for our com­mu­ni­ties and our democ­ra­cy. As a bridge between the urban com­mu­ni­ty and the admin­is­tra­tion, the Office for Par­tic­i­pa­tion and Engage­ment cre­ates struc­tures that strength­en civic engage­ment and sup­port peo­ple who want to active­ly shape the places where they live.
