Online lecture on everyday racism

In Germany, racism is primarily equated with right-wing extremism and therefore open violence. This overlooks the fact that we all grow up with racist ways of thinking, acting and speaking.

Racism is not only found in right-wing fringe groups, but is part of our everyday culture and can therefore be found in all areas, including schools.
In this lecture, we would first like to take a look at the definition of racism, its manifestations and contexts.

The following questions will be addressed:
What is racism? How does racism manifest itself in everyday human interaction?
What effects does racism have on the people affected?
