Dear friends and allies of COLA TAXI OKAY, dear people,

We are an inter­cul­tur­al project space in Karl­sruhe that has been offer­ing peo­ple with and with­out a his­to­ry of flight and migra­tion a space for encounter, exchange and cre­ative work since 2016. Peo­ple of dif­fer­ent ori­gins and lan­guages meet here – on equal terms and with the aim of shap­ing cul­ture togeth­er, rather than just watching.

We cor­dial­ly invite you to two spe­cial events at Kro­nen­straße 25 in Karlsruhe:

Are you inter­est­ed in drag, com­mu­ni­ty build­ing and cre­ative spaces?
Then come along and chat with Prince Emrah & Twiga! Togeth­er we will ask:
What does drag mean to you? And how do queer com­mu­ni­ties emerge – espe­cial­ly for peo­ple with migra­tion or refugee back­grounds? You don’t need any pre­vi­ous expe­ri­ence – just curios­i­ty and open­ness.
Learn from two inspir­ing drag artists, share your per­spec­tive and dis­cov­er how drag can bring sto­ries to life.

In the evening, things get colour­ful, loud and full of ener­gy!
Expe­ri­ence thrilling per­for­mances by BIPOC drag artists who bring their sto­ries to the stage.
Look for­ward to bel­ly danc­ing, pow­er­ful per­for­mances and a com­mu­ni­ty where every­one is cel­e­brat­ed – just as you are.
Dance with us, cel­e­brate diver­si­ty and enjoy an unfor­get­table night!
