Festausschuss Karlsruher Fastnacht (FKF)

The Festausschuss KARLSRUHER FASTNACHT (FKF) is the umbrella organization representing the interests of its affiliated carnival clubs. It also supports its members as a service provider by offering advice and assistance. Its key responsibilities include organizing the Karlsruhe carnival parade – the largest free public event in the city – preserving and developing carnival traditions, and promoting young participants through its youth organization. The FKF was founded in 1952 as an association of Karlsruhe carnival societies.
