A weekly program for children living in refugee housing
Stadtpiraten Karlsruhe – Fun, Belonging & Support for Kids
Stadtpiraten Karlsruhe is a volunteer-run project that brings joy, creativity, and connection to children from refugee families currently staying in the initial reception center (LEA) in Karlsruhe.
What We Do
Many of the families we work with face an uncertain future in Germany. Children often live in a state of “in between” — between their past experiences and an unclear path ahead. Our mission is to create a space where they can simply be kids again.
Every week, we organize:
- 🤸♂️ Fun and active group games
- 🎨 Creative workshops
- 🚌 Exciting outings (baking, zoo visits, ice skating, climbing & more)
Want to Get Involved?
Whether you’d like to volunteer, ask a question, or learn more about our program — we’d love to hear from you!
