Bar­be­cue whit Über den Tellerrand!

Meet new peo­ple, share food, and con­nect across cul­tures: On June 20, 2026, Über den Teller­rand Karl­sruhe invites every­one to a com­mu­ni­ty bar­be­cue in Karlsruhe-Rüppurr.

The event offers a wel­com­ing space where peo­ple from dif­fer­ent back­grounds can get to know each oth­er, exchange expe­ri­ences, and build new friend­ships through cook­ing and shar­ing a meal together.

Bar­be­cue food will be pro­vid­ed. Par­tic­i­pants can choose from halal beef, chick­en, lamb, or veg­e­tar­i­an options.

Guests are encour­aged to bring ingre­di­ents for sal­ads or sauces, which will be pre­pared togeth­er dur­ing the event. Costs may be reim­bursed, depend­ing on the avail­able bud­get, if receipts are provided.

If you play a musi­cal instru­ment, feel free to bring it along and con­tribute to the atmos­phere of the event.

Par­tic­i­pants are kind­ly asked to arrive on time and, if pos­si­ble, stay until the end. The idea is to cook, eat, and clean up togeth­er as a community.

If you are unable to attend, please can­cel your reg­is­tra­tion in advance to help avoid food waste.
