Cur­rent­ly, the pro­jects LERNBOX and Wel­come Café SALON RESOURCE of Flücht­ling­shilfe Karls­ruhe e.V. take place eve­ry after­noon from Mon­day to Fri­day from 3 pm to 6 pm in the house Alter Schlach­thof 11 in Karlsruhe.

Here at Flücht­ling­shilfe Karls­ruhe e.V. you can learn Ger­man, get to know other people and much more, which sup­ports refu­gees and enables them to par­ti­ci­pate in our society.

In the Salon Res­source we have also set up some lear­ning spaces.

The Job­cen­ter sends forms that need to be filled out. And how do you write an appli­ca­tion for an inter­n­ship ? For many refu­gees, dea­ling with autho­ri­ties is a real chal­lenge.
At Flücht­ling­shilfe Karls­ruhe, we offer sup­port : we help read through appli­ca­tions, pick up the phone to call the Job­cen­ter, or explain offi­cial documents.

Whe­ther it’s Ger­man, English, or che­mis­try – the refu­gees who come to us have very indi­vi­dual tuto­ring needs. Some attend school, some are in voca­tio­nal trai­ning, and others stu­dy at uni­ver­si­ty. That’s why our range of tuto­ring sub­jects is so broad.

If you feel confi­dent in a par­ti­cu­lar sub­ject, we’ll look for a sui­table per­son who could bene­fit from your sup­port. The ses­sions take place either at our space in the Alter Schlach­thof or online. Our coor­di­na­tor will be your main contact and sup­port your tan­dem. We also hold regu­lar team mee­tups where eve­ryone can exchange ideas and experiences.
