Currently, the projects LERNBOX and Welcome Café SALON RESOURCE of Flüchtlingshilfe Karlsruhe e.V. take place every afternoon from Monday to Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm in the house Alter Schlachthof 11 in Karlsruhe.
Here at Flüchtlingshilfe Karlsruhe e.V. you can learn German, get to know other people and much more, which supports refugees and enables them to participate in our society.
In the Salon Ressource we have also set up some learning spaces.

An official letter arrives in the mailbox — but it’s impossible to understand. The Jobcenter sends forms that need to be filled out. And how do you write an application for an internship? For many refugees, dealing with authorities is a real challenge. At Flüchtlingshilfe Karlsruhe, we offer support: we help read through applications, pick up the phone to call the Jobcenter, or explain official documents.
Whether it’s German, English, or chemistry – the refugees who come to us have very individual tutoring needs. Some attend school, some are in vocational training, and others study at university. That’s why our range of tutoring subjects is so broad.
If you feel confident in a particular subject, we’ll look for a suitable person who could benefit from your support. The sessions take place either at our space in the Alter Schlachthof or online. Our coordinator will be your main contact and support your tandem. We also hold regular team meetups where everyone can exchange ideas and experiences.
